Installations of Coiled Tubing Via the Top of Riser to Deliver Lift Gas to the Riser Base

Abstract:
As increasing water cut takes hold in many brownfields, gas lift is a mature technique to assist in production. Riser base gas lift in Deepwater fields can be used to reduce the hydrostatic pressure in the vertical component of the riser.This results in less backpressure on wells, less slugging in the long flowline between the platform and subsea trees, and ultimately improves production rates. This presentation is a case study on the installations of coiled tubing via the top of riser to deliver lift gas to the riser base.
