Advanced CCUS Well Engineering and Design

Since 2008, Blade has been involved in Carbon Capture, Utilization and Sequestration (CCUS) projects, across a range of engineering activities, from subsurface to field development. Blade’s expertise in gas storage, CO₂ injection for EOR, thermal and flow analysis, materials engineering and well engineering provide the backbone to our CCUS services and this Advanced CCUS Well Engineering and Design training course.

Blade has also made fundamental contributions to engineering and analysis for CCUS projects and has published several papers in this area. Blade is pleased to have introduced our course, “Advanced CCUS Well Engineering and Design,” in 2021 in response to the increasing interest in the design of carbon sequestration wells. The course is drawn from Blade’s 16 years of extensive experience in CCUS projects and our deep experience in advanced well engineering, gas storage and CO2 EOR, and materials science and engineering.
